In an effort to promote a strong volunteer program that provides for a safe, accountable and supportive school environment it is important for you to be aware of the following key points before your first day of service.
- Per Superintendent Policy 4300, all volunteers must complete the Eagleview Volunteer Code of Conduct (updated anually). Forms are available in the school office.
- Per Superintendent Policy 4300, all volunteers must attend one of the Eagleview Volunteer Orientation Training Sessions. This is only necessary if you have never been through the orientation in past years. We maintain a record of those who have been trained.
- If you have already been trained then you only need to drop off (at the office) an updated Code of Conduct for the current school year.
- Volunteers perform the following important services for Eagleview: classroom work, class parties, field trip chaperones, PTO projects, bookroom support, lunch supervision, field day, student store, crosswalk, book fair, musical performance support, FLIGHT classes and more.
You may access the online training by clicking the Volunteer Orientation Power Point link below. Once you have completed the training, simply print the Code of Conduct form and bring it to the main office along with your government issued ID to receive your badge.
Thank you for the important work you do to support learning at Eagleview. Our volunteers are truly the wind beneath our wings.
