I was born and raised in Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1990 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I spent the first few years teaching in the Dallas, TX area and eventually made my way to Colorado. I received my Masters in Diverse Learning/Gifted Education in June 1999. This is my 24th year of teaching and my 19th year in Adams 12. I have taught at Stargate, Rocky Mountain Elementary, and Eagleview. My husband, Jayson, and I moved to Colorado in 1995 and absolutely love it here! We have a daughter and two sons. Caroline is starting her sophomore year at Colorado State University. Alec will be a senior at Mountain Range High School and Andrew will be a sophomore. In our spare time we love to watch our kids play sports, go to the lake, snow ski and head back to Oklahoma to see our family.
