Hello! My name is Lyndi Peterson, and I am so excited to be moving into the role of Assistant Principal at Eagleview Elementary School! I bring with me to Eagleview 15 years of experience as a professional educator. I am a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, I hold a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University and certification as a K-12 Reading Specialist. I completed my principal certification through Denver University. Throughout my career in education I have served as a classroom teacher in grades 1-6, Reading Specialist, Instructional Coach, and am also a Wilson Certified Dyslexia Practitioner. Most recently I worked in the role of Instructional Coach at both Meridian and Coyote Ridge Elementary School in the Adams 12 School District.
I have been married for twelve years to my wonderful husband, Brian, and we have three beautiful children ages 10, 8, and 6 that all attend school in Adams 12. My husband coaches basketball, baseball, and football for our son, and our girls keep us very busy with their dance classes and recitals! My husband is a Wisconsin native, so needless to say we are big Packers fans! In my time away from school, I enjoy reading, shopping, and enjoying the gorgeous state that we live in. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year, and I am truly overjoyed to be joining the Eagleview family and serving alongside Principal Porter! I look forward to meeting you all soon!
