Random Acts of Kindness

In order to promote the social and emotional well-being of our staff and students, we have implemented the Random Acts of Kindness curriculum. Teachers and students will engage in weekly lessons focused on key social emotional concepts that positively impact our students as learners.   Research shows that teaching social and emotional skills like kindness improves behavior and academic success. We believe the simple act of kindness creates conditions which lead to a caring environment for students, teachers and community members. 

As the school year unfolds, we look forward to hearing kindness stories and witnessing random acts of kindness being carried out in our school and beyond. 

Everyone benefits when individuals, schools, and communities embrace kindness.  Kindness breeds kindness!
