Parent Teacher Organization
Welcome to the Eagleview Parent Teacher Organization page!
We’re a small (but mighty) group of parents and teachers working to build upon our already amazing school and community. We’re an informal organization, so don’t be scared of us. We’re exist to give back to the students, staff and community, and we’re always looking for people to join us.
Here’s an added perk, by interacting with teachers, administrators, and other parents on a regular basis, you'll gain a firsthand understanding of your child's daily activities. You'll also tap into trends and fads of school life that can help you communicate with your kids as they grow and change.
What is the commitment?
You commit however much time you can. We have members who work full time jobs, and we have members who are stay at home parents. Your level of involvement is completely up to you.
When do we meet?
We meet once a month in person at the school.
These meetings serve to address PTO issues; however Principal Porter regularly reports to us during these meetings on how the school is doing in various academic categories and across the district. These reports are very informative.
What do we do?
We help raise money to invest back into the school and students. Teachers can request funds from us to purchase supplies not otherwise covered by the district (for example, heart rate monitors for P.E., extra playground equipment, wobbly chairs, etc.). We can also purchase items that we think the school can benefit from, without a staff member request.
We find ways to celebrate and support the staff at EVE.
We put on an annual festival or carnival for the entire school. This is a wonderful event for our community and really brings the families and EVE staff closer.
Ways to help?
You can volunteer at an event. You can help find sponsors or donors. Depending upon your talents and skills, you could help in carpentry projects, social media management, or any other path that interests you.
To get involved or get more information, email the PTO at eagleviewpto@gmail.com, or visit our IG.
