EVE Update - April 2022

Dear Eagleview Families,

Spring has sprung, and it is lovely! It’s nice to have the longer daylight hours and warmer weather. Who knows though, it is Colorado and we all know anything can happen in regards to the weather.

April is an incredibly busy month, so make sure you have a calendar handy to plan for the upcoming events! As we shared in the fall, we postponed our Eagleview Soaring Sprint and Carnival for a spring date. We are set to kick off our fundraising efforts beginning next week and excited for the big event to occur on Thursday, May 5th after school. This is our one MAJOR fundraiser of the year. Our school wide goal is $20,000 and individual student goals are $50 each. We plan to raise this money for learning materials and experiences for our students! A detailed packet will be sent electronically next week that will outline our goals, the process, AND the prizes students can earn for their fundraising efforts.

Also starting next week, our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will begin the annual Colorado Measure of Academic Success assessment (CMAS). We kindly ask that all appointments are scheduled outside of the school day to eliminate the need for makeup testing. To maximize student performance, make sure to send encouraging words, provide a healthy breakfast and snacks and most importantly ensure the students get a good night’s rest each evening before assessments! A detailed calendar is attached for your reference.

Together, let’s finish the year stronger than we started! It’s been a journey so far, and we are so incredibly proud of the resiliency our community has shown to make this the best year it can be.

Thanks so much for your continuous support, and for working together to start off strong. If you have any comments, questions, feedback or compliments, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email at
