EVE Update - December 2019
Dear Eagleview Families,
Happy December! I hope everyone enjoyed their time off for the Thanksgiving holiday. The time off allows us to slow down, relax and catch our breath before the busy December month ahead of us.
If you have been to Eagleview recently, you may have noticed our secure vestibule is now completed and fully operational. As visitors enter the building, they will be expected to log in to the Raptor system and present their photo identification to be scanned through the system (in the vestibule). Once the ID has been scanned through, the process becomes simple and the visitors will just need to enter the reason for the visit and then proceed into the building to obtain their visitor badge. As part of our ELEVATE strategic plan, this comes as part of one of our district goals focused on increased safety and security.
Our Holiday Giving Tree is up and looking beautiful at the front entrance of the school. This has become a tradition of our school, as we carry it forward to support our very own Eagleview families during the holiday season. If your family would like to support the cause, please collect an ornament from the tree, purchase the gift and return it back to EVE by December 17th with the ornament attached. Over the years, our families have been been beyond appreciative and grateful for the kindness and generosity of our community.
Coming soon, our Eagleview Parent Teacher Partnership (EPTP) will be hosting our annual Holiday Craft Fair on December 14th from 10 a.m.-2 pm. There will be 40+ vendors selling a wide range of crafts and gifts. It is a kid-friendly event where kids can come decorate cookies, and enjoy some hot cocoa! You also don’t want to miss a chance to get your holiday pictures taken with Mrs. Gina Lantz, a local photographer and EVE community member!
Thanks so much for your continuous support and for a tremendous 2019-2020 school year! . If you have any comments, questions, feedback or compliments, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
