EVE Update - November 2019
Dear Eagleview Families,
Although it is still fall, it feels like it’s winter this week! The temperature swings certainly keep us on our toes!
October was a busy month, and before we know it, the holidays will be upon us. Most recently, I want to extend a huge thank you to our Eagleview Parent Teacher Partnership (EPTP) for hosting our annual Trunk or Treat. The candy drive results exceeded our expectations! Congratulations to Mrs. Martinez’s class for winning the contest to bring in the most candy with a whopping 83 pounds!
As we look ahead, our Eagleview Parent Teacher Partnership (EPTP) is in the midst of planning our upcoming EPTP Movie Night, Annual EVE Craft Fair and seeking your support for our EVE Community Angel Tree to support families during the holiday season.
As we recently reached the 50th day of instruction, this is a reminder about the importance of regular attendance and arriving on time. Recognizing the cold season Is on its way, there may be times when your student needs to out. Parents and /or guardians may excuse up to five (5) absences without documentation. Beyond five, the family will be expected to provide specific documentation regarding the absence (i.e. doctor’s note, court documents, etc.) in order for it to be recorded as excused. We thank you for your efforts with this, as we know when students are not at school, they are not learning. The daylight hours are getting shorter indeed! Coming up this weekend, don’t forget to set your clocks one hour back for Daylight Savings Time!
November serves as a month of gratitude, and for that, I wanted to take a moment to share how grateful I am to serve the Eagleview community. The students and families are the best in the district, and I couldn’t be more proud to serve as your partner.
Thanks so much for your continuous support and for a tremendous 2019-2020 school year! . If you have any comments, questions, feedback or compliments, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email at email@example.com.
