The mission of the program is to offer students opportunities to celebrate the joy of learning beyond the school day. We invite you to join us!
The Fall FLIGHT Calendars are attached
FLIGHT registration will now be online. On Saturday January 18, 2020 at 10:00 am, a link will be emailed out (make sure the office has your email) allowing you to begin sign up for FLIGHT classes. After you have registered for classes, you may then pay using your child's Infinite Campus account, or at the front office. IC Accounts will be updated Friday January 24, 2020 at 3:00 am.
Although it is not necessary, it is highly advised to create an account with SIGN UP GENIUS (www.signupgenius.com) ahead of time.
A few notes that will be helpful in this process:
Only enter quantity of 1 each time you sign up your student for a class. If a family has more than one student wants to register for the same class, sign up the 2nd sibling separately using a quantity of 1.
quantities of two or more will be removed.
Registration for classes will close on Wednesday September 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm, no students will be admitted to classes after that time.
Fees and Scholarships
All classes are $8 each. This fee is to offset the cost of supplies and salaries.
Scholarships are available on a limited basis. If your family qualifies for a free or reduced lunch, you qualify for the FLIGHT Scholarship program; you must contact the office to receive this scholarship. Please note that only one scholarship may be awarded per child per session. For more information or to request scholarships, please contact Lin Pritchard 720-972-5761 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Safety and Discipline
We expect all FLIGHT participants to be positive, courteous, and respectful to staff and other students. All school property will be used with safety and care. Any discipline will be handled as stated in the Eagleview Student Handbook. If behavior becomes a problem, the student will not be allowed to participate in FLIGHT activities
Refunds are not available on registration fees if a child leaves during a session for any reason
If your child will not be attending one of the classes for any reason, please call the main office before 2:00pm (720-972-5760). You may also leave this information on the attendance line 720-972-5778. After 3 absences students will be dropped from the FLIGHT class.
Pick-up / Release of Students
In an effort to help maintain the security standard established at Eagleview, we will be implementing a new procedure for picking up your child after classes.
From this point forward, students that are not in the BASE program will need to be picked up at the front entrance of the school by the flagpole. If parents are wishing to enter the school to pick up their child before 3:30, they must use the main entrance and sign in at the front desk before the office closes at 3:15. At no time should parents, or any other person picking up a student, attempt to access the school by using another door, or asking someone to open a door.
Please keep in mind this procedure is for the safety of not only your child, but all of our students.
Please inform instructor of any medical needs. All medication must be administered through the school's health clinic before school is dismissed. Please direct any question concerning the Eagleview FLIGHT Program to Julie Vigil or email Julie.Vigil@adams12.org.
